Parent Plus Loan
The Department of Education primarily expects your parent(s) to provide financial support if your eligible loan or grant amounts don’t fully cover the cost of your program. This support would typically come through a Parent PLUS Loan. However, there are certain situations where we may bypass this requirement. Let’s first go over the details of this loan:

- Parent Plus Loans are credit based loans.
- Need to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Repayment begins after loan is fully disbursed, 
but you can request a deferment if needed.
